Frustrated by Previous Physical Therapy Experiences?

As healthcare providers we take that personally and are changing the narrative

We help you stay active in whatever type of active lifestyle you choose.

We thoroughly evaluate your entire body to find the root cause of your pain.

From there we come up with an individualized, custom plan that aligns with your life and goals. No cookie cutter treatments, double bookings, or time spent alone on heat packs here.

Every session is one-on-one for a full hour. All of our providers have experience in high performance training along with their extensive background in rehab.

Through education, empowerment, and evidence-based movement, we teach you how to take ownership of your health while optimizing performance and reducing future injury risk.

Treatment Sessions Might Include:

Shockwave Therapy

Low intensity shockwave therapy is a non-invasive medical treatment that uses gentle pulses of energy to help improve blood flow and promote tissue healing. It’s often used to treat conditions like erectile dysfunction or certain types of musculoskeletal pain. The therapy works by stimulating the body’s natural healing mechanisms, which can lead to better circulation and tissue repair. It’s like a gentle “wake-up call” for your body to help it heal and function better.

Trigger Point Dry Needling

Trigger point dry needling is a therapeutic technique used by trained healthcare professionals, often physical therapists, to alleviate muscle pain and tension. It involves inserting thin needles into specific points in your muscles, known as trigger points, which are knots or tight spots. This process can help release muscle knots, improve blood flow, and reduce pain.

Cupping Therapy

Cupping is a traditional therapy where special cups are placed on your skin to create suction. This suction gently pulls your skin and underlying tissues upward. It’s like a reverse massage – instead of pushing down, the cups lift your skin. People use cupping to help with pain, inflammation, and relaxation. It might leave circular marks on your skin temporarily, but these usually go away after a few days. Think of it as a unique way to give your body a little boost and relief.

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) is a physical therapy technique where specially designed tools are used to gently massage and treat muscle and soft tissue issues. It’s like a skilled therapist using specialized tools to smooth out knots and tension in your muscles. This can help reduce pain, improve flexibility, and enhance blood circulation. Think of it as a targeted and precise way to give your muscles a therapeutic “massage” for better comfort and movement.

Myofascial Release

Myofascial release techniques are a type of therapy that focuses on relaxing and stretching the thin layer of tissue (fascia) that covers your muscles. It’s like gently stretching and unwinding a tight elastic wrap around your muscles. This helps to release tension, reduce pain, and improve your flexibility and movement. Think of it as giving your muscles a soothing stretch to help them feel more comfortable and relaxed.

Connective Tissue Manipulation

Connective tissue manipulation is a hands-on therapy that focuses on the tissues that support and connect your muscles, bones, and organs. Imagine gently stretching and manipulating the “net” that holds your body together. This technique aims to improve your body’s alignment, reduce pain, and enhance your overall movement. It’s like giving your body’s internal scaffolding a careful and soothing adjustment to help you feel more balanced and comfortable.

Therapeutic Exercise

Therapeutic exercise involves doing specific physical activities or movements prescribed by a healthcare professional to improve your overall health or recover from an injury. It’s like a personalized workout plan designed to help your body get stronger, more flexible, and function better. These exercises are chosen to target your specific needs, whether it’s recovering from an injury, managing a medical condition, or simply enhancing your well-being. Just like how regular exercise keeps your body fit, therapeutic exercises are tailored to help you feel better and improve your quality of life.

Education

Behavioral and lifestyle education in pelvic health physical therapy involves learning how your everyday habits and actions can affect your pelvic health and the dysfunctional symptoms you’re experiencing. It’s like getting guidance on how to make positive changes in how you move, eat, and take care of yourself to assist in your healing journey. Your physical therapist will help you understand how your behaviors and choices can impact your recovery from injuries or pelvic floor conditions. They will provide advice on exercises, posture, diet, and other lifestyle factors to promote healing and prevent future problems. Think of it as getting practical tips to improve how you live and move, so you can enjoy a healthier and more active life.

Lance is an amazing doctor and a caring healer.  I saw him for 4 months every week and he did an outstanding job each visit. He helped me with several chronic issues and also showed me several exercises I can do on my own to prevent and alleviate some of my back issues. I highly recommend him as a physical therapist.

Lance Frank is a great physical therapist and a good man. He’s patient and forthright and quite serious about knowing that his patients are indeed getting better. Every time I saw him, I understood that his plan was for me to not have to see him as soon as possible. He’s knowledgable and absolutely caring.
